Meet Dr. JC Julyan
Specialist Orthodontist, Somerset West
Dr. JC Julyan is a Specialist Orthodontist passionate about creating confident, functional smiles through personalised, high-quality care. He graduated Cum Laude as a dentist from the University of Pretoria in 2013 and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
His journey in orthodontics began with a Postgraduate Diploma in Interceptive Orthodontics (2015), followed by a Master’s degree (MSc) in Orthodontics from the University of the Western Cape (2018). He completed his specialist training (MChD) Cum Laude in 2025 and also holds a Fellowship in Orthodontics [FCD(SA)] from the College of Medicine of South Africa, Cum Laude.
Dr. Julyan is known for his perfectionist approach and genuine care for each patient. He takes pride in improving both aesthetics and function while building meaningful relationships throughout the treatment journey. He is a proud member of the South African Society of Orthodontists (SASO) and the South African Dental Association (SADA).
Outside of work, Dr. Julyan enjoys padel, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and dogs.

Oral Hygienist, Somerset West
Hi, I’m Elana! I’ve been an Oral Hygienist since 2004, beginning my journey in Vredendal, then moving on to Panorama, and spending the past 13 years in Somerset West. I truly love working in a specialist orthodontic practice — it’s where I feel I belong.
Orthodontics is more than just a job for me; it’s a genuine passion. There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing the amazing transformations in my patients’ smiles and seeing their confidence flourish.
Outside of work, I’m a music enthusiast who’s often humming a tune or singing along to the radio. I aim to bring warmth and positive energy to every appointment.
Meet Nicole
Orthodontic Receptionist, Somerset West
Hi, I’m Nicole, the friendly face at the front desk of our orthodontic office. As a receptionist, I take pride in creating a welcoming and organized environment for both patients and staff. I enjoy helping people feel comfortable and ensuring everything runs smoothly from the moment they walk in.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my husband and our two daughters. We enjoy discovering new places together and making memories as a family. I’m also an avid reader who appreciates a good book to unwind and relax.
